Hi,

I'm a friend of Jose's. He forwarded me the link to your website a while back. I had taken a quick glance at it before, watching one of your video clips. As Jose said, it is very professional. Maybe he's right, you should consider a career in film. Of course, you should go where the good Lord takes you. He has great things planned for your life, of this I'm sure.

What I'm not sure of is all of the interesting points that you brought up in your blog. You brought up terms like legalized christianity and chrisian cross-culturalism. I did agree with you that there are fundamentals in christianity such as a belief in our savior and the crucifixion and the atonement of sins - you are right, these are absolutely fundamental and they are in the context of the new testament.

On the issues of homosexuality and pregnancy I am unsure. I have not seen the film nor have I read my bible cover to cover. Interestingly, I am investigating what the bible says about homosexuality. I have spoken with a few priests about it, have been reading the bible more carefully, etc. I'm sure that watching the movie or reading your blog would help some in that endeavor.

To answer your question concerning christian culture that you posed at the end of your video, I think that this goes the full spectrum. From your conservatives to liberals. From the bible belt to your openly gay and loving san francisco christians.

I'm sure this could become a very lengthy conversation, so I'll just say one more thing. I believe that everyone has their own religion. In this case, religion meaning how you connect your creator. We all have slightly different notions of heaven and hell, the appearance of our Lord, judgment day, etc. In this way, we are all Christians but with our own religion - our own understanding of the particulars of Christ's salvation. In this way, christian cross culturalism spans the full spectrum.

Thank you and good luck with your endeavors.

Jason
